We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Rota Coordinator to join our team at West Middlesex University Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • To develop and maintain comprehensive rota systems for all grades of medical staff within Planned Care Surgery.
  • Provide effective communication between departments to ensure smooth running of medical staffing rotas.
  • Work closely with clinical administrative teams to ensure all clinical activity is aligned with medical staffing levels.
  • Maintain accurate records of doctors annual and study leave, sickness absence, and production of monthly reports for locum bookings.
  • Collaborate with service managers to achieve operational targets and manage performance effectively.
  • Identify areas for quality improvement and implement changes in collaboration with the Divisional management team.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

Educated to A-level or equivalent healthcare experience.

Experience of Rota Management.

Intermediate use of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Sheets.

Sound knowledge of acute hospital processes.

Demonstrable experience contributing to operational objectives.

Experience of producing reports for finance for bank and agency staff.
