Video Technician Job Description

Wise Productions is seeking an experienced Video Technician to join our team to support growing demand for video within live events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare video equipment for events and ensure it is in good working order.
  • Brief freelance video operators and assist with equipment preparation.
  • Attend event setups as required and manage sub-hires for events.
  • Assist the Senior Video Technician with kit listing and departmental inventory management.
  • Maintain a tidy department and assist the warehouse team with loads, tips, and degrot.
Requirements:
  • 3 years experience in a video role or freelance.
  • Highly computer literate with basic networking skills.
  • Ability to learn Studio Operation / vMix / Streaming Software.
  • Knowledge of basic camera functionality and signal cable differences.
  • Basic projection and display experience.
  • Live video call software (Zoom / Teams) experience.
  • Experience of PAT / maintenance of equipment.
