As a key member of the Legal department, you will be responsible for the legal aspects of a diverse portfolio of construction projects.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified solicitor with a strong background in construction and non-contentious law to work closely with project teams, relevant third parties, and LOR's commercial objectives to provide proactive and regular advice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review bids and assess project risk as part of the broader bid team, reaching an aligned position with project bid teams as part of the win strategy.
  • Drafting, negotiating, and advising on final main contracts, briefing Business Executives to obtain governance approval.
  • Identify and determine whether a compensation event qualifies, assist in the preparation of submissions to PM, and provide ad hoc legal advice.

The ideal candidate will have experience of major projects both in the UK and internationally, a pro-active attitude to addressing key legal issues facing building and infrastructure projects, and a desire to contribute to organisational success.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
