Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Group Ingredients Category Manager to play a pivotal role in our Procurement transformation. This individual will shape and execute the procurement strategy for essential ingredients across our diverse portfolio, leveraging market insights and strategic vision to drive value across Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Developing Strategic Plans: Create and implement category strategies that align with Valeo's broader objectives and divisional business strategies and needs.
  2. Sourcing and Negotiations: Manage the end-to-end sourcing process, utilizing in-depth analysis and category knowledge to secure attractive commercial deals and achieve superior outcomes.
  3. Supplier Relationship Management (SRM): Generate a strong savings pipeline through advanced procurement techniques and lead SRM initiatives to strengthen supplier innovation, ESG, and promote continuous improvement.
  4. Market Monitoring and Risk Mitigation: Monitor and respond to market trends to mitigate risks and maintain a competitive edge.
  5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices, elevate procurement capabilities, and actively contribute to our transformation.
