About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Specialist to join our CAMHS Inpatient Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to young people with acute mental health problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the provision of a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week in-patient based service across an acute care pathway.
- Work under the supervision of the Ward Manager and Charge Nurses, adhering to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Code of Professional Conduct and relevant professional guidelines.
- Assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate programmes of care in conjunction with patients, carers, and other professionals.
- Carry out all relevant forms of care and take charge of a ward in the absence of a Charge Nurse.
