School Nurse Position

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated School Staff Nurse to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a School Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in promoting health and wellness to children and young people in a school setting.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a school nursing caseload for a group of schools, working closely with Band 6 SCPHN School Nurses and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide health assessments, classroom teaching, and safeguarding services to children and young people.
- Work collaboratively with schools, families, and other agencies to ensure safe pathways of care for children with complex medical conditions.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and their families, promoting healthy lifestyles and well-being.
- Contribute to the provision of safe and reliable services, using clinical judgment and risk assessments to minimize harm.
We are looking for a registered nurse with current NMC registration, who has experience working in a children's or pediatric setting. The ideal candidate will have a flexible approach to working, a positive attitude, and strong personal integrity. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and their families.
