We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's food manufacturing site in Thetford. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of automated machinery.
Key Responsibilities:- Minimise downtime and maximise efficiency through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Respond to breakdowns and perform corrective maintenance repairs in a timely manner.
- Develop and implement maintenance SOPs to ensure consistency and quality.
- Carry out PPM inspections and maintenance, and perform general maintenance tasks as required.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to share knowledge and best practices.
The successful candidate will have mechanical and electrical experience in manufacturing environments, competency in PLCs, and an aptitude for fault diagnosis. A recognised engineering qualification, such as City and Guilds in Electrical/Mechanical disciplines, is essential. This is a full-time position with a 4 on 4 off shift schedule, including nights. Benefits include 23 days of annual holiday, free on-site parking, a quarterly attendance bonus of \u00a3200, and life insurance.
