Cost Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Manager to join our Manchester Real Estate team at Turner & Townsend Group.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality cost management services across the full project lifecycle, with a strong understanding of construction costs and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in feasibility studies and prepare procurement reports
- Develop and present cost plans, including estimating and cost planning
- Manage the pre-qualification stage of tendering and procuring
- Deal with post-contract cost variances and change control processes
- Take personal responsibility for cost checks and valuations on larger projects
- Produce monthly post-contract cost reports and present them to clients
- Negotiate and agree final accounts
- Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages
- Proven experience in cost management or quantity surveying
- Professional qualification (RICS or similar) is desirable
- Degree or HNC level qualification in a relevant field
