Veterinary Nurse Consultant

A Registered Veterinary Nurse position is available at our Reading-based practice, part of the Medivet Group Ltd. This full-time role requires the successful candidate to work 40 hours per week, with a 1:4 weekend schedule.
Our practice boasts modern facilities, including two consultation rooms and separate cat and dog wards. This position offers a competitive salary of approximately £38,000 - £42,000 per annum, taking into account the demands and responsibilities of this role.
Key Tasks
- Patient monitoring and care delivery
- Admission and discharge management under Veterinary team guidance
- Adherence to regulatory, practice, and operational standards
Essential Qualifications
- RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse
- Experience in nurse consult support, with an understanding of its impact on practice efficiency and performance
- Strong coaching and influencing skills for optimal colleague performance
