Principal Safety Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Safety Consultant to join our team in the North West area. Our client is a well-established company operating in the Energy market and other sectors.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on upstream oil and gas or Hydrogen/renewable projects as a Technical/Process Safety Engineer, providing support and technical solutions. A strong understanding of QRA, SIL, and ALARP methods/tools is essential, along with strong commercial/business skills and technical qualities.

The successful candidate will be expected to mentor others in the team and identify new business opportunities/work-streams. Experience with SAFETI software and workshop facilitation would be highly beneficial.

This is a great opportunity to work on a variety of energy projects throughout the complete process from conceptual design through to operations. You will have the chance to work on live projects, providing real-time safety solutions, and support at design stage.

Requirements:
  • Principal Safety Consultant with experience in the oil and gas/energy sector
  • Ability to provide bespoke solutions and think outside the box
  • Technical depth to provide solutions on live operational projects
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Ability to facilitate workshops and generate new business opportunities
