Research Nurse/AHP/Clinical Research Practitioner in Rheumatology

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Research Nurse/AHP/Clinical Research Practitioner to join our Rheumatology Research Team at the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThis is a part-time position that will support all aspects of trial organisation from trial set up to completion as an integrated member of the clinical research team. The role includes direct patient contact and requires the ability to maintain clinical skills such as venepuncture, blood sample processing, measuring blood pressure and recording 12 lead ECGs.
Key Responsibilities- Support all aspects of trial organisation from trial set up to completion
- Maintain clinical skills such as venepuncture, blood sample processing, measuring blood pressure and recording 12 lead ECGs
- Direct patient contact
- Flexibility to work in other related areas as demand arises
- Registered Nurse and State Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council or Diploma/Degree in relevant area
- Good Clinical Practice Certification
- Demonstrates evidence of on-going personal development and the application of this to practice in relevant health care setting
- Demonstrates an awareness of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards and EU directive 2001
- Knowledge of clinical research practices
