SENCO Leader

Teaching Personnel's PWR Team is seeking a dynamic and innovative SENCO to join their team in Peterborough. This is an exciting role for a dedicated professional committed to providing exceptional support and learning experiences for students with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of inclusive education strategies
• Provide guidance and support to teachers and support staff in meeting the needs of students with special educational needs
• Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and implement policies and procedures related to special educational needs
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's special educational needs policy
• Work closely with parents and carers to ensure that students with special educational needs receive the support they need

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience in a SENCO role or in supporting students with special educational needs + NASENCO Award
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to improving student outcomes
