Teaching Personnel's PWR Team is seeking a dynamic and innovative SENCO to join their team in Peterborough. This is an exciting role for a dedicated professional committed to providing exceptional support and learning experiences for students with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of inclusive education strategies
- Provide guidance and support to teachers and support staff in meeting the needs of students with special educational needs
- Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and implement policies and procedures related to special educational needs
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's special educational needs policy
- Work closely with parents and carers to ensure that students with special educational needs receive the support they need
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience in a SENCO role or in supporting students with special educational needs + NASENCO Award
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to improving student outcomes
