Key Requirements

The primary focus of this role is to leverage expertise in PCB/FPGA/ASIC design for satellite/space/aerospace applications.

  • Experience in designing PCBs and layout techniques for space and satellite applications is essential.
  • Proficiency in layout design and DFM/DFA procedures, as well as PCB qualification procedures for satcom applications, is required.
  • Strong knowledge of power supply, analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit design is necessary.
  • The ability to provide a full set of deliverables for PCB fabrication and assembly is crucial.
  • Good academic credentials and a solid background in PCB layout design, with hands-on experience, are expected.
  • Familiarity with PCB design tools such as Allegro, Orcad Capture CIS, Mentor Graphics Expedition, Dx-designer, PADS, Cad Star, Board Station RE, HyperLynx, Valor, and CAM 350 is required.
Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing PCBs for satellite and space applications, ensuring compliance with DFM/DFA procedures and satcom application requirements.

They will also be responsible for providing a full set of deliverables for PCB fabrication and assembly, including design files, manufacturing documentation, and testing procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics design, PCB layout, and design tools, with experience in space and satellite applications.
