Senior Tax Accountant (Part-Time)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team at Workingmums. This part-time role is based in Eastleigh and involves working on internal and external compliance and reporting activities for our leading Insurer client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the submission of Corporation Tax computations and returns, VAT returns, and IPT returns to HMRC in accordance with relevant legislation and time limits.
  • Ensure tax disclosures within year-end accounts are calculated in accordance with relevant legislation and accounting standards.
  • Assist Payroll and HR with employment tax matters as required.
  • Maintain arrangements for documentation, review, and sign-off of appropriate controls for tax-related matters, ensuring compliance with Senior Accounting Officer legislation.
Requirements:
  • A Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.).
  • IT literate, with a good working knowledge of spreadsheet software, especially Microsoft Excel.
