Job Title: Compliance and Health and Safety Manager

We're a leading provider of smart energy solutions, and we're looking for a skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our compliance and safety team, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our employees, customers, and the general public.

As a Health and Safety Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  2. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  3. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including CDM, WAH, Asbestos, and Gas.
  4. Collaborate with the logistics and transport teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery of services.
  5. Investigate accidents and incidents to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  6. Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees are aware of safety procedures and protocols.
  7. Monitor and report on safety metrics and statistics to ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  1. Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager or in a related field.
  2. Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and its practical application.
  3. Completed a NEBOSH certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent.
  4. Hold an internal auditing qualification, such as ISO45001.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
  7. Valid qualification in occupational health and safety.
