Job Title: Health and Safety Consultant

A leading consultancy, Search People, is seeking an experienced Health and Safety professional to join their team. The role is home-based with travel to client sites across the region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct Health & Safety risk assessments and audits at various client sites.
  • Produce method statements and write policies to ensure compliance.
  • Use and help clients integrate a bespoke Health and Safety Management System.
  • Carry out specific client risk assessments and create Health & Safety Management reports.
  • Identify client requirements through surveying client premises and conduct safety audits.
  • Advise, guide, and coach personnel on implementing Company Procedures.
  • Conduct audits and inspections of health & safety practices across the business.
  • Investigate, analyze, and produce reports on health & safety matters, and assist with legal issues if required.
Requirements:
  • Hold or be willing to work towards a Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
  • Be an engaging Health and Safety Professional with excellent people skills and a can-do approach.
  • Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
