About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Laser Operator with a strong background in operating Trumpf and/or Bystronic machines to join our dynamic team at BluetownOnline Ltd.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate 2D laser profiling machines with Trumpf and/or Bystronic control systems.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and CAD models to produce components to specified tolerances.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any technical issues.
- Conduct first-off inspection and verify the accuracy of machined parts using precision measurement tools.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure all components meet strict quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, providing feedback and suggestions to enhance laser profiling processes and efficiencies.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a 2D laser profiling operator in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in operating 2D laser profiling machines with Trumpf and/or Bystronic control systems.
- Strong understanding of laser profiling processes and materials, including metals and exotic alloys.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD models.
- Experience with precision measurement tools and inspection techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
