Remote Assessment Specialist
We are seeking experienced healthcare professionals to join our team as Remote Assessment Specialists, conducting evaluations of health conditions and disabilities' impact on daily life. This role combines flexibility with challenge, requiring you to work from home and visit our centres on a rota basis.
Your responsibilities will include creating comprehensive reports detailing the evidence gathered for each claimant, following training to support decision-making by the DWP. Strong observational and communication skills, as well as typing proficiency, are essential.
A competitive remuneration package includes £38,500 per annum (pro rata for part-time) plus a 5% retention bonus, escalating to £39,900 plus up to 10% bonus upon achieving remote approved status, and £41,500 plus up to 10% bonus upon achieving face-to-face delivery.
Key Requirements
- experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist or paramedic
- valid registration with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC or other)
- strong observational and communication skills
- typing proficiency at a minimum of 30 words per minute
- IT and Microsoft Office expertise
