Automotive Repair Professional

Ford and Slater Limited is a leading UK-based truck dealer group with 16 locations across the country. We are seeking a skilled LCV/vehicle technician to join our team at the Chesterfield depot.
In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a wide variety of cars, LCVs, and vans. You will work closely with our customers to understand their vehicle requirements and provide exceptional service. You will also be expected to diagnose and repair faults, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards and in accordance with manufacturers' procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Servicing and maintaining cars, LCVs, and vans to a high standard
- Diagnosing and repairing faults to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy
- Working with customers to understand their vehicle needs and provide exceptional service
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed and providing updates to customers
Requirements
- Previous experience as a technician or mechanic in the car, LCV, van, HGV, or commercial vehicle sector
- Qualification to Level 3 in vehicle repair (or similar) is desirable but not essential
- Technical knowledge and skills to ensure maintenance and repairs are carried out according to manufacturers' procedures
