Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Technical Specialist to join our team at Proftech Talent. As a key contact person between our clients and vehicle manufacturers, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless communication and resolving technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Respond to dealer inquiries regarding technical, accessories, and vehicle conversions.
  2. Identify product issues, provide detailed reports, and collaborate with the technical team and manufacturers to resolve defects.
  3. Develop and maintain professional relationships with dealership partners and manufacturers.
  4. Manage information flow to reduce defect reoccurrence and improve manufacturer relationships.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 5 years' experience in a busy franchise dealer, vehicle manufacturer, or technical service role.
  2. Experience working on alternative fuel powered vehicles.
  3. Good working knowledge of connected car technology, APP integration, and relevant BTech or City and Guilds, IMI Automotive Technical qualifications.
  4. Excellent Motor Vehicle mechanical knowledge.
  5. Previous experience in an automotive Aftersales department.
  6. First-class knowledge of dealer aftersales systems and practices.
  7. Good I.T Skills, including MS Office suite of products.
  8. Excellent written and verbal skills.
  9. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
  10. Meticulous and professional.
  11. Ability to work under pressure.
  12. Strong organisational skills with the ability to time manage, multi-task, and prioritise.
