Job Overview

AgRecruit is seeking a Senior Scientist to join our R&D team, contributing to the discovery and demonstration of efficacy in game-changing crop protection products.

This biotech start-up aims to revolutionise the AgriFarming landscape by discovering novel and sustainable herbicides. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in trialing and demonstrating efficacy of new herbicide modes of action.

The successful candidate will possess a PhD or MSc in agriculture, horticulture, weed or plant science, with experience in weed resistance trials and research. A high level of knowledge in herbicide chemistry and principles is essential, along with the ability to manage trials and supervise junior staff.

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum.
