Bricklaying Educator

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a knowledgeable and approachable candidate with Bricklaying/Construction industry experience to join our team at a mainstream college in the heart of Cambridge. The college has a proven track record in students going on to further education or full-time employment.

This role will involve the design and delivery of Bricklaying courses to a wide range of learners, in both practical and academic style environments. The successful candidate will need to have relevant industry experience in the Construction sector and be able to demonstrate in-depth subject knowledge with at least a Level 3 vocational qualification in Bricklaying.

The successful candidate will have:

* Experience in a further educational environment, however, great industry experience can also be vital to the college
* A minimum of a Level 3 vocational qualification in Bricklaying, GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and maths
* Desirable qualifications include: Degree in a relevant subject, QTS, Certificate in Education/PGCE/DTLLS/DET, Assessor qualifications A1 or equivalent, Internal Verification qualification V1 or equivalent, and the ability to deliver across different construction trades
