The Night Porter is a key member of the Wildes Group team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guest Services
    • Assist guests with luggage and porterage services
    • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive guest experience
  • Hotel Security
    • Monitor and maintain the security of the hotel and its surroundings
    • Respond to any security incidents or concerns
  • Cleaning and Maintenance
    • Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all hotel areas, including public spaces, staff areas, and meeting rooms
    • Perform daily checks to ensure all areas are clean and tidy
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones and responding to emails
    • Maintain accurate records and reports as required

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
