Job Overview

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer role at Sulzer Falkirk is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for managing customer interactions, conducting fault-finding activities, and executing maintenance tasks on rotating machinery.

You will work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide expert solutions to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

A strong understanding of electrical and mechanical engineering principles is essential for this role, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage customer interactions and provide expert solutions to minimize downtime
  2. Conduct fault-finding activities and execute maintenance tasks on rotating machinery
  3. Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
Requirements
  • Recognised apprenticeship or possession of an Electrical / Mechanical engineering qualification
  • Previous experience of overhaul and repair of electric motors and generators, including low and high voltage equipment
  • Familiarity with laser alignment, bearing testing, and electrical winding techniques
