About the Role

The Key Account Manager is a critical position in the planning, implementation, and delivery of the wholesale strategy and business growth for key accounts. This role is instrumental in driving sales initiatives, building strong relationships with key wholesale customers, and executing a comprehensive key account roadmap that aligns with the overall company strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Sales Manager to drive key account sales initiatives across individual channels.
  • Manage a portfolio of wholesale accounts, build strong relationships, and strategic partnerships with key wholesale customers, providing excellent customer service.
  • Execute a comprehensive key account roadmap that aligns with the overall company strategy and growth plans.
  • Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue and profitability goals for key accounts.
  • Focus on brands and category performance from a sell-out and sell-in perspective to create growth opportunities for immediate revenue and long-term opportunities.
  • Analyse and communicate commercial sales data and create action plans based on results.
  • Work cross-functionally with wholesale operations to optimize shipping targets.
  • Be the voice of the key accounts, regarding assortment planning, marketing plans, in-store, and online.
  • Identify new and potential growth strategies within the market and distribution.
  • Demonstrate an intimate understanding of our products, vision, and business, and be able to help anyone understand any aspect of the company.
  • Accountable for the thorough implementation of all key account-related initiatives, successful Shop In Shop projects, and the representation of the brand.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to drive marketing strategies and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in key account management.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and exceed expectations, with the ability to find solutions and deliver results within a rapidly changing, entrepreneurial, technology-driven culture.
  • Ability to demonstrate relationships and collaborate with key buyers and merchandising teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships with ease.
  • Commercially astute and confident decision maker, communicating with impact across all levels.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change and work with pace.
  • Immersive fashion trend interest and knowledge of major accounts and market needs.
  • Excellent negotiation skills, making informed decisions, and always backing yourself with data and insights.
  • Full clean driving license.
