We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Medical Secretary to join our team at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. As a key member of our Pain Management team, you will provide secretarial and administrative support to consultants and their team, working closely with other experienced medical secretaries.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to consultants and their team
- Work collaboratively with other medical secretaries to achieve team goals
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders
- Contribute to the development and implementation of administrative processes and procedures
- Previous medical secretarial experience with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Fast and accurate audio typing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
The Medical Secretarial Service provides secretarial and administration support to medical, surgical, and clinical teams across the acute sector of NHS Grampian.
