Senior Director of Business Integration

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the integration of acquired companies or disposals, shaping our governance framework and implementing best practices. This role demands exceptional project management and leadership skills to ensure seamless integration into Inchcape.
Main Responsibilities- Integration Planning and Implementation:
- Establish effective governance for M&A integration.
- Develop and execute comprehensive integration plans aligned with the Inchcape Accelerate strategy.
- Team Leadership:
- Foster a collaborative environment by building and coordinating cross-functional integration teams.
- Cultivate partnerships with departments such as finance, People, IT, legal, operations, and Commercial.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Establish clear communication channels with key stakeholders.
- Promote transparency and alignment throughout the integration process.
- Due Diligence Support:
- Collaborate with M&A teams to provide integration-related input during the due diligence phase.
- Cultural Integration:
- Work closely with the People Team to develop strategies for cultural integration.
- Maintain a cohesive and productive work environment.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate integration risks.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Synergy Realization:
- Implement processes and reporting mechanisms to capture and measure synergy delivery for acquisitions.
- Post-Merger Assessment and Continuous Improvement:
- Evaluate integration effectiveness through post-merger assessments.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize future integration processes.
- Proven experience in leading M&A integration, either in consultancy or an operating environment with demonstrated best practices.
- Strong project management skills with a track record of success in managing complex integration projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of financial analysis, risk management, and legal compliance in the context of M&A.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and change management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
