About the Job

We are seeking an experienced M&E Estimator to join our team in Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for compiling accurate estimates for clients and potential clients on our maintenance services. This includes creating detailed cost pricing and estimation for new contracts, variations, and re-tendered contracts, including asset schedules, to assist in proposal preparation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in estimating and cost management, with a strong understanding of M&E systems and processes. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile accurate estimates for clients and potential clients on our maintenance services.
  • Create detailed cost pricing and estimation for new contracts, variations, and re-tendered contracts, including asset schedules, to assist in proposal preparation.
  • Conduct site surveys independently or with others to ensure estimates accurately reflect customer needs and enable robust proposals/tender submissions.
  • Evaluate technical and commercial requirements of pre-prepared tender documentation, specifications, and SLAs to balance compliance with commercial risk and competitive value.
