Geography Teacher / Geography ECT Opportunity

EDEX is seeking a skilled Geography Teacher / Geography ECT to join our team at an 'Outstanding' Secondary School in Enfield. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our students.

About the Role:

  • As a Geography Teacher / Geography ECT, you will be responsible for teaching Geography to students aged 11-18 and contributing to the development of the curriculum.
  • You will work closely with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging lessons, promoting high standards of student achievement.
  • TLR Opportunities are available for KS3 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities, providing scope for career progression.
  • ECTs are welcome, with a comprehensive induction program and ongoing professional development.

Requirements:

  • UK QTS or equivalent is required; ECTs must be in the process of gaining QTS.
  • Strong academics across the board, including a Degree, A Levels, and GCSEs.
  • Ability to meet the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
