Installation and Maintenance of Fire Safety Equipment

Cento is seeking a skilled Installation and Maintenance of Fire Safety Equipment specialist to join our team.

This contract role offers a competitive salary of £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, paid weekly, with flexible working arrangements.

You will be responsible for installing, testing, and commissioning fire alarm systems in residential and commercial properties.

Maintaining and repairing existing systems will also be a key part of this role.

About the Role

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on fire safety measures.

Your work must adhere to industry regulations and standards, ensuring the highest quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Installation: Install fire alarm systems in accordance with manufacturer instructions and regulatory requirements.
  • System Testing: Test installed systems to ensure they function correctly and meet client expectations.
  • System Maintenance: Regularly inspect, maintain, and repair existing fire alarm systems to prevent failures.
  • Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to identify their specific needs and provide tailored solutions.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience in fire alarm or electrical engineering, with a focus on installation and maintenance.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in working with Apollo fire alarm systems and Compex 1-4 qualifications.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong technical skills for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to adapt to different situations.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Travel: Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation for travel to client sites.
