We are seeking an experienced and skilled Adult Psychiatry Consultant to join our team at Medacs. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our mental health services.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
- Provide expert clinical leadership and guidance to junior doctors and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in adult psychiatry, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- MBChB (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) or equivalent qualification.
- Hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration (CESR) at the time of application.
- Inclusion on the General Medical Council's (GMC) Specialist Register.
- At least 6 months of recent NHS experience within the last 3 years.
