This is a high-profile project that involves re-engineering our trading platform using a bleeding-edge tech stack, offering a unique opportunity for passionate engineers to work on a cutting-edge project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-performance trading systems using Java 8 and above, with a focus on threading techniques, garbage collection, and low-latency Java.
  • Collaborate with a team of top-calibre engineers to build something from the ground-up, taking ownership of projects and contributing to the development of a scalable and efficient trading platform.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure the successful implementation of the trading platform, meeting the requirements of the business and delivering high-quality results.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to improve the trading platform and contribute to the company's success.

Requirements

  • At least 5+ years of experience working with multi-threaded Java in a financial setting.
  • Commercial experience with algorithmic trading.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.
  • A passion for using collaborative software engineering techniques (agile, TDD, BDD, continuous integration).
