At Course, we are seeking a skilled Pension Consulting Actuary to join our team. This role offers a unique blend of client interaction and technical expertise, ensuring the delivery of high-quality pension consulting services.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all phases of actuarial valuations and special projects to deliver timely and accurate results.
- Manage the implementation of new services, adhering to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate and review project assignments to ensure a flawless work product.
- Assist in the development and presentation of proposals for consulting services.
- Provide consulting services and develop responsive, innovative solutions.
- Take personal responsibility for the timeliness and quality of work performed, ensuring it meets budgetary constraints.
- Explain and help clients analyze the pros and cons of various solutions, demonstrating relevant software and tools as needed.
- Apply the tools of the trade, including guidance from regulators, statements from accounting standards boards, and internal consulting expertise.
- Assist in the development and presentation of proposals for additional consulting services.
- Consult with other Course lines of business regarding projects and expanded client relations.
About You
- Substantial experience in actuarial consultancy with a proven track record.
- Attention to detail and dedication to producing high-quality work.
- Computer literate with proficiency in relevant software.
