We are seeking an experienced Insurance Broker to join our team at Ecclesiastical Insurance Group. As an Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for providing specialist advice and designing bespoke insurance policies for charities and not-for-profit organizations.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to new business enquiries and provide quotations to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of client assessments and insurance requirements.
- Determine the most competitive rates and best coverage for clients.
- Communicate quotations and discuss additional covers with clients.
- Issue written confirmation and documentation to clients and insurers.
- Ensure system records are created and required documentation is issued.
- Respond to client and insurer enquiries and requests.
- Assist with queries and referrals from the existing business department.
- Attend monthly broker meetings to stay updated on company matters and insurer products.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the insurance industry.
- Awareness and understanding of FCA rules and regulatory requirements.
- Strong customer service focus and confident telephone manner.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Robust administration skills and ability to work accurately and consistently.
- Ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative to manage workload.
- Preferably qualified to a minimum of Cert CII, but this is not compulsory.
- Motivated to study for industry exams.
- Competitive basic salary (£23,000 - £30,000)
