With decades of experience, the company has become a trusted name in the design, manufacturing, and supply systems for industries such as construction, recycling, and material processing.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Safety and Compliance Specialist to support our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) management systems. This is a hands-on, full-time, on-site role where you'll be instrumental in maintaining and improving SHEQ standards, ensuring compliance, and supporting the engineering division.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conducting regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with SHEQ regulations.
  • Developing and implementing Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), Permits to Work, and other safety protocols.
  • Leading incident investigations and ensuring corrective actions are taken.
  • Managing and supporting the quality control process, including product inspections, testing, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure we meet relevant QHSE certifications and standards.
  • Reporting QHSE performance to senior management, identifying areas for improvement, and driving a culture of safety and quality.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A strong understanding of health and safety regulations, environmental practices, and quality systems.
  • Hands-on experience in inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Certification in QHSE-related fields (NEBOSH, IOSH, etc.) or a commitment to achieving certification with our support.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
