Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at Be Caring. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care that respects individuals' dignity and promotes their independence.
  • Support individuals to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals as needed.
  • Connect individuals to their communities, accessing local support and services.
  • Deliver personalized care through individual choice and control.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and professionals, documenting and reporting information as required.

Induction Training

We will provide comprehensive induction training to ensure you have the skills and knowledge needed to excel as a Care Assistant. This includes training on Be Caring values, dignity and respect, safeguarding, and equality and diversity, as well as fluids and nutrition, safe medication administration, and infection prevention and control.

Requirements

You will need to have patience, empathy, and effective communication skills to excel as a Care Assistant. While prior care experience is not necessary, you will need to have the right values and a can-do attitude. We will provide the training you need to become an outstanding Care Assistant.
