Job Summary:

Steadplan is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our dynamic team at our Leeds site. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of HGVs and vans to the highest standards. We offer a competitive salary up to £56,000 per year, plus overtime and benefits such as private medical insurance and on-site parking.

Key Responsibilities:

* Diagnose and repair HGVs and vans to DVSA standards
* Prepare vehicles for MOT tests and achieve a 100% pass rate
* Attend breakdowns and provide roadside repairs
* Complete all paperwork promptly and accurately

Requirements:

* NVQ Level 3 in HGV Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
* Previous experience working with HGVs, ideally within a dealership or similar environment
* HGV licence (Class 2 or above preferred)

Shift Pattern:

We are looking for someone who is willing to work night shifts on a rotating schedule (Mon-Thurs or Tues-Fri, 1:30 pm – Midnight).
