CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrician to join their team in East Kilbride. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the service and maintenance of all associated electrical services equipment and systems within the client's premises. Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting day-to-day operations, planned maintenance, fault finding, and repair of electrical services in a building services environment.
• Testing and inspecting electrical systems, including main switchgear and distribution systems, lighting controls, and minor works and installations.
• Utilizing a PDA system integrated with a CAFM system to ensure the flow of information is returned within deadlines.
• Implementing planned preventative maintenance and associated work efficiently to specified requirements and providing assistance with improving these requirements on a continuous basis.
• Recording concise details of test results and actions taken when rectifying break-downs and further action required to eliminate or minimize future problems.
• Communicating all necessary information regarding breakdown problems, alteration to planned preventative maintenance, and technical information required.
• Liaising and working with Specialist Contractors as required.

Requirements:

• Industry-recognised training apprenticeship, BS 7671 Edition.
• Post-apprenticeship experience working in an FM environment.
• Ability to diagnose faults and put forward and complete appropriate rectification measures.
• Ability to establish necessary parts/plant/materials necessary for completion of tasks.
• Flexible attitude to work individually and working as part of a team.
• Reliable and trustworthy.
• Confidence in communication with clients and senior managers.
• Willingness to take part in out-of-hours duty roster/on-call.
• Pass CRB advanced checks.
