Job Purpose

Our client, a leading aerospace company, is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator (Turning) to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for programming, setting, and manufacturing small-batch aerospace components.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Program CNC 2 & 3 axis lathes with live tooling online via Fanuc controls.
  2. Set and produce first off's to ensure requirements are met and standards/tolerances are repeatable.
  3. Produce machine set-up documentation.
  4. Assist production management in developing and implementing technical solutions to production-related process issues.
  5. Liaise with Engineering/Quality departments to ensure Company procedures and quality assurance are maintained at all times.
  6. Maintain a high standard of housekeeping at all times.
  7. Contribute to creating and maintaining a safe working environment and observe published Health and Safety procedures.
Requirements
  1. English, Maths & Science GCSE (or equivalent) at grade C or above.
  2. CNC programming, setting, and operating experience of both 2 axis and multi-axis lathe to 0.
  3. Computer literate and methodical.
Desirable Qualifications
  1. Experience in the Aerospace Industry.
  2. Engineering Apprenticeship.
