About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Class 1 Driver to join our team at the Nelson Depot. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for driving Class 1 vehicles to transport products between our main site and other depots nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Manage your time effectively to ensure jobs are completed within expected times.
  • Maintain a safe and well-maintained vehicle, reporting any defects or issues promptly.
  • Fulfill all company and statutory health and safety, security, and emergency procedures, ensuring the well-being of yourself and others.
  • Adhere to UK driving laws and regulations at all times.
Requirements
  • Full CPC and Digi-Tacho Card are essential.
  • HGV/LGV Class 1 license is required.
  • Good understanding of driver's hours and working time regulations.
  • Experience of driving in the UK and related legislation.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
