As an Associate Director of Pipeline Engineering at AtkinsRéalis, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.

We specialise in all aspects of water engineering within the sector, including Aviation, Defence, Energy, and Cities & Development. Our team provides industry-leading water transmission solutions through the project lifecycle, with value added through client-side support as well as construction phases.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and direct teams undertaking technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
  • Define briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Set quality assurance standards in design.
  • Grow, develop, and manage pipeline engineering capability within the practice.

What You Can Bring:

  • Chartered Civil Engineer.
  • Experience in owning design delivery, including multidisciplinary design on large-scale pipeline projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of specialist pipeline design across all materials, jointing, and installation methods.
  • Knowledge of current UK and international pipeline design standards.

Rewards and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary that is regularly tested against other consultants, with a default 25-days leave each year plus bank holidays, and options to buy some or sell of that leave. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Security Clearance:

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
