About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit and Accounts Assistant Manager to join our team at Puro Accountancy. As a key member of our financial services team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional client service and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies to maintain the highest level of financial integrity.
  • Project Management: Contribute to ad-hoc projects and special assignments, utilizing your expertise to drive results and meet client needs.
  • Financial Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in accounting, auditing, VAT, taxation, PAYE, and general business advisory services to provide sound financial guidance to clients.
  • Client Management: Manage a portfolio of clients, nurturing strong relationships and providing exceptional service to drive client satisfaction and retention.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review annual accounts, corporation tax computations, and VAT returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: ACCA or ACA qualification, complemented by relevant experience in audit and accounts.
  • Experience: A minimum of 4 years working within a UK accounting practice.
  • Work Authorization: You must hold the right to fully work in the UK.
