About the Role:

Nuffield Health is seeking a highly motivated and organized Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at our Vale Hospital. As a key member of our facilities team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and pleasant environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all areas of the hospital are clean and well-maintained, adhering to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery, including carpet cleaners and other specialized equipment.
  • Restock and replenish cleaning supplies and materials as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services and maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
