After School Club Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic After School Club Assistant to join our team at Thwaites School. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and be able to lead the day-to-day organisation of the After School Club.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating a safe, welcoming, and friendly environment for children to engage in creative play activities.
• Liaising with the school to meet the needs of children who attend the After School Club.
• Providing care, play opportunities, and activities that cater to individual developmental needs and age ranges.
• Fostering inclusive practice to ensure all children can participate in activities.
• Consulting with children to involve them in planning activities.

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS check.
• Up-to-date and relevant references.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people.
