We are seeking a highly skilled Research Associate in Computational Skyrmionics for Neuromorphic Computing to join our vibrant community of interdisciplinary researchers.

The successful candidate will work on emerging magnetic nanotechnologies to enable computing hardware for brain-inspired computing, focusing on skyrmionics-based neuromorphic components such as nanosynaptic devices under realistic operating conditions.

This exciting project is an interdisciplinary collaboration between the University of Manchester, CNRS, Thales, AUTh, and Eurida.

As part of the Skyrmionics team, you will be hosted by the Nano Engineering and Spintronic Technologies (NEST) group, a leading research group with expertise in spintronics, magnetic data storage, nano-technology applications, numerical modelling, and simulation.

You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with renowned researchers in the field.

In addition to your technical skills, we are looking for individuals with strong communication and teamwork skills, who can contribute to a dynamic and supportive research environment.

The salary for this position is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including a generous holiday allowance, pension scheme, and access to training and development opportunities.
