About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our Fresh Produce team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the ordering and demand planning for fresh produce, ensuring seamless stock management and optimal supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Supply Chain Officers and Consultants to achieve business objectives
  • Develop and implement effective demand planning and ordering strategies for fresh produce
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize supply chain efficiency
  • Collaborate with suppliers and the buying team to ensure smooth stock management and timely delivery
  • Oversee the handling of day-to-day operations, including fruit and veg orders, and ensure accurate data management
  • Analyze data to forecast fruit and veg volumes and develop strategies to meet business needs
  • Develop and implement promotions within commercial KPIs, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Regularly report on promotions and availability KPIs to stakeholders
Requirements
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, with a focus on fresh produce
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Strong numerical skills and ability to work with numbers on a daily basis
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
