About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Counselling Coordinator to join our team at Change Grow Live. As a key member of our service, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering counselling interventions that make a positive impact on the lives of our service users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality counselling services, ensuring that our service users receive the best possible support.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of counsellors, providing them with the necessary support and guidance to excel in their roles.
  • Review all referrals, conduct assessments to determine suitability for counselling, and manage client allocations, providing direct counselling services as part of your role.
  • Engage in clinical supervision according to the BACP/UKCP ethical framework, ensuring that our service users receive the highest standard of care.
  • Take responsibility for personal development, identifying training needs, and participating in regular supervision and appraisal.
  • Collaborate with the wider leadership team to identify areas for improvement and champion a trauma-informed approach to care.

Requirements

  • Professional Level 4 (minimum) Counselling Qualification and working towards BACP accreditation.
  • Working towards a diploma in Therapeutic Counselling Supervision or equivalent that adheres to BACP ethical principles.
  • An excellent knowledge of a wide range of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, TA, and Person-Centred approaches.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to train counselling students and volunteers to support service users utilising a variety of interventions.
