Job Title: Waste Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Waste Driver to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and recycling waste in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive and maintain a fleet of refuse vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and meet health and safety standards.
  • Collect and transport waste and recyclables to designated facilities, adhering to schedules and routes.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of vehicles, as well as completing associated paperwork and documentation.
  • Operate electronic ICT systems to track and record waste collection data.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective waste management operations.
Requirements:
  • Valid HGV license and experience driving refuse vehicles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic ICT systems.
  • Knowledge of waste management procedures and regulations.
