About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Counsellor/Psychotherapist to join our EAP Clinical Team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical support to clients via telephone and/or video calls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Initial Clinical Assessments/Triage of client needs, leading to appropriate clinical pathways.
  • Deliver a range of support in our Pathway, including Booked Assessment Appointments, In The Moment Support, and Booked Single Sessions.
  • Carry out Risk Assessments and follow the Safeguarding and Risk Protocol process.
  • Manage a caseload of clients requiring Structured Counselling, depending on your contractual hours and the needs of the service.
  • Write brief, accurate, and concise clinical notes of all interactions.
Requirements
  • Able to work a minimum of 3 full days per week, with at least 1 day based in-office in Bracknell.
  • Part-time is pro rata salary.
  • Be able to cover at least 1 weekend (7.5 hours) and 1 overnight sleeping shift per month.
  • Be an experienced practitioner with a minimum of 300+ clinical hours.
  • Be qualified as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist (L4 and above in Counselling) with BACP (or similar) registered status.
  • Be IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
  • Have a strong clinical background, with excellent Assessment skills.
  • Able to make sound Clinical decisions, while holding Boundaries.
  • Be a keen team-player with excellent time management, clinical, communication, and organisation skills.
Desirable
  • Have previous EAP/telephone Counselling or time-limited assessment experience, ideally in a corporate environment.
