About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at CareTech Group. As a key member of our team, you will work with individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders, providing expert assessment, therapy, and support to maximize their potential and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of communication needs in various environments
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapy plans to address communication challenges
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a cohesive and effective therapeutic approach
  • Respond to referrals and maintain an inclusive communication environment
  • Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A degree or postgraduate diploma in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent)
  • Registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience working with individuals with Learning Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Knowledge of AAC approaches and a commitment to ongoing professional development
